Let me tell you about my Valentine's day here in Tally. I already know that America is bigger than us when it comes to holidays, but Valentine's day was surprisingly! Everything started the week before Valentine's day. Every senior had their own bag with their name on hanging on one of the boards in a class room. You could put notes, candy or whatever you wanted in other bags. I really love that idea! Anyway, valentines day was great, people walked around with ballons, cupcakes and everyone was just generally happy.
My day started with a big bag of candy, a teddy bear, a cupcake and a ballon from Kenia. Later on a rose and marshmallow from Ben. (He asked me the day before what I was getting for Valentines, and if I wanted a rose ;)). I also got cupcake from Sarah, candy and a few notes in my bag. Since it is such a big deal about who your "valentine" is, I decided to have a Swedish valentine. The mall, dinner and then the movie"that means war". I amost forgot the cookie cake and rose I got from Mr. Darrell and Mrs. Glenys the day before Valentine's. I really love Valentine's day!
